Whether an old salt or a newcomer to the world of sailing, join us and five other crew mates aboard TURICUM, a luxurious C&C 44 as we sail the fabled Inside Passage. Be prepared for close encounters with Killer Whales, Dolphins and Eagles as we sail past historic settlements and abandoned Indian villages. Our journey will take us to Jedediah Island Marine Park, through tidal rapids in Beazley Passage and Okisollo Channel and into Johnstone Strait. We proceed up Johnstone Strait past the famous "Rubbing Beach" at Robson Bight Ecological reserve to God's Pocket, our (weather permitting) jumping off point for "Open Water" crossing of Queen Charlotte Sound past Cape Caution to Safety Cove. We then proceed back along the North side of Queen Charlotte Sound to Greenway Sound. From Greenway Sound we head back to Vancouver via Minstrel Island, Blind Channel, Copeland Islands Marine Park, Secret Cove and West Bay.

These are "Hands On" cruises with everyone participating in safety procedures and drills, passage planning, navigation, anchoring, sail trim, helming, and shipboard duties. It will be a learning experience for all. Your. Instructor \ Skipper will provide instruction for all activities and prepare crew members who wish to complete their C.Y.A. certification.
